How do I shear a sheep?
Press and hold the glowing ring to pick up the handpiece, then keep your finger down and drag along the highlighted lane. Work through the blows in order until the fleece bar fills, then tap and hold the porthole to send the sheep through.
What is a second cut, and how do I avoid one?
A second cut happens when the handpiece passes back over wool you've already shorn. Keep your stroke moving forward along the lane rather than doubling back, and go a little slower rather than rushing the line.
Why does my cutter feel slower than before?
Cutters dull as you shear more sheep, which slows your blows down. Open Gear, hold the grinder wheel to put an edge back on your current cutter, or fit a fresh one from your kit.
Why can't I shear a sheep in Tally Day?
After a shower during a run, some sheep in the pen come up wet and can't be shorn until they're dry. Catch a dry one from the pen instead.
Is my progress backed up anywhere?
Progress is stored only on your device. It isn't backed up to any server we run, though it will be included in your device's normal iCloud/iTunes backup if you have that turned on for your phone.
Does the app work offline?
Yes — Long Blow has no network features at all, so it plays exactly the same with your device in airplane mode.
